I like to do this every-so-often, its my go-to challenge when art isn't clicking for me. All your need is a pen and some paper and BAM! you've got yourself a drawing. haha I also think sketching in pen can be very helpful in teaching beginner artists how to sketch properly. So I HIGHLY suggest you give it a go if you've never tried it.
