Recently Activision flew me and a few other lucky content creators to Japan to visit FROM SOFTWARE to play Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice as well as interview game director, Hidetaka Miyazaki.
Even though I only spent 3 hours with the game, there’s a lot to unpack here. So for the bulk of the video I’m going to try to just stick to the facts for each topic with a light dusting of subjectivity here and there. And then at the end I’ll give you my overall opinion of Sekiro from the time I spent with it. But, I can assure there is a ton of new and useful information here. Alright, let’s jump right into it.
Here’s 11 Things You Need to Know About Sekiro.
We'll cover Story, Setting and Character, The Ninja Class of Shinobi, Combat, Posture and Deathblows, the Shinobi Prosthetic Arm, Various Upgrades, Stealth, Death, and finally the Dragonrot Mechanic.
