Two fighting game titans go head to head, fresh off of one of the biggest breakthroughs in what should have been the fighting game to end all fighting games. However, poor business practices, questionable gameplay direction, and more brought this down to being a simple footnote in FGC history. So, what went wrong, and how did they try to salvage what was left of the pieces? Find out by watching the dang video!

As I said, there was a bit of a controversy with Cross Assault. I didn't feel comfortable writing anything about it in the video because it seems like everyone involved have apologized, learned, and moved on from an incident that happened years ago. I didn't feel like it was my place to reopen a cut that has long since healed. While I don't think this impacted SF x T much in the long run, this incident is a part of the game's history. If you're looking for more information on what went down, you can either google it, youtube search it, or check out this Kotaku article: https://kotaku.com/5889066/competitiv...
