My name is Christina and in January 2016 I weighed 118kg or 261lbs. I was morbidly obese and in danger of dying. After 1 year on a ketogenic diet I've lost over 100lbs and completely reversed PCOS. Unlike other keto experts out there I've been morbidly obese and been through the weight loss journey. Keep it simple. Good advise, indeed. When I got into keto full steam, I tried everything from massive doses of amino acids to black seed oil in an attempt to hasten the process. That stuff isn't important. Keto works all by itself. I found lots of bacon and eggs after an 18 hour fast will neutralize the hunger pangs all day and the creativity of coming up with different ways to ingest proteins and fats for dinner is endless and satisfying. After a bit, your appetites change and you no longer feel the same way about food as you once did. I had pizza today for the first time since November. I should have been in carb glutton heaven but instead I was wishing the pizza was a porterhouse steak. That's what keto does. It makes you eat food that's good for you, not food that tastes good.

Great video Christina, I agree about keeping it simple as we are doing this as a family but I started it a few months ahead of my son and husband and was keeping it very simple but since they joined me in August I have started baking keto bread and biscuits just to keep them interested! It was easier when I was just supporting myself :))
