Sitting on my motorcycle in the pouring rain at night in a strange campground in up State N.Y.. Having left my life behind wondering if there was any sense setting up my tent. This song was playing on my little bike radio and I felt very alone. I go there every time I hear this song. It reminds me that part of me is still there 40 years later

My Dad was born in 61'. He loved classic cars and he loved this band among others. I remember him working in the garage on his days off from the fire department, 70s and 80s music playing. When he had parties he would make playlists and it was just good times. Besides being a good father, he was also a great person. Having looked back on his life, I think he unknowingly discovered the secret of life. He may not have known it, but I aspire to be everything he was. I travel a lot for my job, and on my way home every night I listen to a lot of the songs he loved and pretend he's riding next to me. Tonight I listened to this and kept it repeating. RIP, dad. Gone way too soon.

I liked Ben Orr's voice much better than Ric Ocasik's, as evidenced by this masterpiece! Who's here in 2019?

This song makes me miss being young in the 70's and 80's. All the innocence of being young and no responsibilities, fun with friends, first loves and crushes. I wish I could go back and appreciate all the good music :(
