It has been estimated that up to one billion animals have perished across Australia as a result of the devastating bushfires that have engulfed the country. And as volunteers and vets race to treat and rescue those affected by the fires, Dr Scott Miller is on Kangaroo Island - where more than half of it’s koalas are believed to have died - to see first hand the cruel reality of Australia's continuing bushfire crisis.
